MISSION ONE CRORE BLOOD DONORS

Blood is typically collected through two primary methods: blood donation camps organized by blood centers and voluntary donors who visit blood centers to donate. “Mission One Crore Blood Donors” introduces a transformative third approach. This mission aims to create a national database of voluntary donors willing to donate blood on short notice during emergencies in their locality.

 

Conceived by our CEO, Dr. N.V. Sudha Kiran, the mission aspires to build a nationwide network of one crore voluntary donors ready to respond to urgent blood requirements nearby. To achieve this, we are collecting basic donor information, including their location, blood group, last donation date, and consent to be contacted in emergencies. This information is being used to develop a comprehensive database.In cases where a specific blood group is unavailable in blood banks or nearby, our team will use the database to identify donors in the vicinity and contact them. Once a donor agrees, our team coordinates the most efficient method to collect and deliver the blood to the patient, ensuring quality and timeliness are never compromised.

 

This initiative aims to bridge the gap between demand and supply, making life-saving blood accessible when and where it is needed most.
